Powered doors and gates are the most dangerous thing on most commercial sites, and defeated safety devices are the most common thing we find on doors installed by others.
We do not disable a photo eye or a reversing edge to make a door work. If it is tripping, something is wrong and we find it.
Vehicular gate operators are installed with the entrapment protection the standard requires, and it is tested in front of you.
Every commissioned opening is cycle-tested and handed over with the safety devices verified in writing.
If we survey an opening and find it unsafe, we say so in writing, even when it is not our installation.
